The MMI is an interview format that is being adopted by professional schools across the world. It is designed to measure competencies including oral communication, social/non verbal skills, team work skills, and assess a future healthcare practitioner’s ability to interact with patients. The MMI has become a big component of most medical schools’ interview process and can be a very stressful part of the interview process for premeds. Our mentor Samveg Shah breaks down his approach to preparing for the MMI in this article, giving insight into his approach in tackling this non-traditional interview format!
